Our History
The Grasmere Court Hotel originally compromised of two Victorian houses. The local Chocolate Manufacturer, JS Fry & Sons purchased the properties in the 1930s as accommodation for senior management.
In the 1970s No 22 was converted to a guesthouse.
In 1989 No 24 was purchased, the two properties merged to form the Grasmere Court Hotel. “Grasmere” being the original name given to 22 Bath Road.
In April 2004 Alistair & Sally Walton and their family purchased the hotel and have carried out a major refurbishment of the hotel.

Special Occasion
We are able to offer two deluxe bedrooms for special occasion, we have 4 ground floor rooms which are available for those who find stairs a problem. Family rooms are also available.

The Grasmere Court Hotel can also boast its own free car park, with spaces for 12 vehicles.

Conferences, Meetings and Wedding Receptions

Our large dining room is easily converted for use as a conference or meeting room to caters for the commercial businessman and is used by businesses from in and around the Bath and Bristol area. Food can be provided on request. Please contact us for details and prices.

We can also cater for Wedding Breakfast receptions (Wedding packages available on request) and other family gatherings.

Alistair and Sally Walton and their friendly and able staff are on hand to help with the daily running of the hotel.
